Have you changed the username and password for your modem?
A few days ago we talked about wifi range extenders being insecure and briefly mentioned modem security. A modem is that thing in your house or office that connects you to the Internet. Yes, many of them are insecure as well as many people don’t change the administrator username and password and/or don’t add a password for the wifi. You MUST do this – NOW. If you don’t, you’re leaving yourself exposed to even low level hackers otherwise known as script kiddies as they can get scripts (code) to hack your modem online – and for free.
